Moto G20 goes official with Unisoc chipset, 48MP quad-camera

Motorola on Monday announced the launch of a new smartphone under its G-series. Called Moto G20, the handset will be available in select markets for a starting price of Eur 149 ( ₹13,400 approximately). The phone comes in Breeze Blue and Flamingo Pink colours. There’s no word on the availability of the phone in other markets.

Motorola’s Moto G20 comes with a 6.5-inch Max Vision 90Hz display with HD+ resolution, 269 ppi, and 20:9 aspect ratio. It measures 165.22 x 75.73 x 9.14 mm and weighs around 200 grams. It comes with a rear fingerprint reader and face unlock feature.

On the software front, it runs on Android 11 out-of-the-box. It ships with a UNISOC T700 1.8GHz octa-core processor. It comes with 64GB of built-in storage and 4GB of RAM. The phone also supports expandable storage up to 1TB via a microSD card. It packs a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging support.

The highlight of the phone is the quad-rear camera setup. It consists of a 48-megapixel primary sensor, 8-megapixel 118-degree ultra-wide-sensor, 2-megapixel macro sensor, and 2-megapixel depth sensor. The camera also comes with a bunch of modes such as Night Vision, Face beauty, HDR, Manual mode, Portrait mode, Panorama, Shot Optimisation, high-res zoom, Active photos, and Google Lens integration. On the front, it houses a 13-megapixel selfie camera.

Other key features of the handset are a 3.5mm headphone jack, a dedicated button for Google Assistant, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, 4G LTE, and USB Type-C. The phone ships with a hybrid dual SIM slot, which houses 2 Nano SIMs or 1 Nano SIM + 1 microSD.
