Nokia 5.3 goes on sale in India via Amazon India, Nokia's online store

HMD Global’s new Nokia smartphone in India ‘Nokia 5.3’ goes on its first sale today. Nokia 5.3 was launched earlier this month alongside the Nokia C3, feature phones Nokia 150 and 125.

Nokia 5.3 starts at ₹13,999 for the base model with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. It also comes with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage that’s priced at ₹15,499. Nokia 5.3 has three colour options of Charcoal, Cyan and Sand. The smartphone can be purchased online via Amazon India and Nokia’s website.

In terms of specs, Nokia 5.3 has a large 6.55-inch HD+ display with a notch on top. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 665 processor paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The storage can be expanded up to 512GB via a microSD card.

For photography, Nokia 5.3 has a quad-camera setup featuring a 13-megapixel primary sensor, 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. There’s an 8-megapixel camera up front for selfies.

Nokia 5.3 packs a 4,000mAh battery with support for 10W charging speed. It comes with a rear fingerprint sensor, and has a dedicated Google Assistant button. Connectivity options on the Nokia 5.3 include 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, dual SIM support, NFC, USB Type-C, and 3.5mm headphone jack.

As for the other Nokia devices, the Nokia 150 and 125 feature phones are already available in India. Nokia C3 can be pre-booked from September 10 and it will go on sale from September 17 onwards.
