Oppo has quietly launched a new smartphone under its A-series. Called A94, the smartphone is listed on the company’s official UAE website. There is no word on its price and sale date as of now.
Oppo A94 measures 160.1 x 73.2 x 7.8mm and weighs around 172 grams. The phone has a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, 90.80% screen-to-body ratio, up to 180Hz touch sampling rate, and standard 60Hz refresh rate.
On the back, Oppo A94 has a quad-camera setup. The configuration includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor along with one ultrawide, macro, and monochrome sensors. On the front, it has a 32-megapixel sensor with an 85-degree field of view, 5P lens, and f/2.4 aperture. Some of the camera modes are AI Color Portrait Video and Dual-View Video.
“AI Color Portrait Video intelligently highlights your subject’s natural colours while turning the background black and white, creating amazing shots that allow anyone to be the centre of attention,” Oppo explains on its website.
Dual-View, as the name implies, allows users to shoot from the rear and front cameras simultaneously.
For performance, the handset relies on MediaTek’s Helio P95 processor clocked at 2.2GHz. The phone also has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage. A 4,300mAh battery powers the phone. It also ships with 30W Vooc charging support.
In terms of connectivity, Oppo A94 has Bluetooth 5.1, USB Type-C, 3.5mm headphone jack, GPS and dual-SIM support. Other features of the phone are Face Unlock and an in-display fingerprint reader.
Oppo earlier this year had launched a 5G-enabled Oppo A93 in China. The handset came with a 6.5-inch full HD+ display, 90Hz refresh rate, and Snapdragon 480 processor. The A93 5G also has a 48-megapixel primary sensor (quad-camera setup) and a 5,000mAh battery. The phone has 8GB of RAM and 256GB of built-in storage. The handset is available for a starting price of ₹22,500 approximately.
