Oppo Reno 4 series to debut on June 5: Here’s what we know so far

Reno 4 series is coming soon. Oppo’s new flagship series is scheduled to launch in China on June 5. The new lineup will feature at least two models, Oppo Reno 4 and Reno 4 Pro.

Oppo will host a live event to showcase the new phones in China at 5 PM IST on June 5. The company has also released an official teaser ahead of the official launch. The teaser reveals a familiar design with a punch-hole camera on the front and curved edges. The back panel houses a quad-camera setup. The teaser confirms blue and pink colour options. The overall form factor is said to be quite similar to Oppo’s Find X2 Pro which debuted earlier this year.

Oppo Reno 4: What we know so far

According to reports, Oppo Reno 4 will come with 5G support. The phones under the new lineup will also have 65W ultra-fast charging capabilities.

Oppo Reno 4 will run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 765 processor. One of the Reno 4 models will have two selfie cameras including a 32-megapixel sensor and a 2-megapixel sensor. The other model will house one selfie camera unit at 32-megapixel resolution.

Oppo Reno 4 is said to have a 6.43-inch display. The Pro model is said to come with a 6.55-inch display. The Reno 4 Pro will offer a 48-megapixel primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilisation, a 12-megapixel sensor, a 13-megapixel telephoto sensor. The phone is also expected to house a ToF sensor.

The Reno 4 will come with a quad-camera setup housing an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Details about other sensors aren’t known yet.

Apart from mid-range-level specifications, you can expect Oppo to offer unique colour options as well.
