Oppo has launched a new Reno 5 smartphone. It’s the Oppo Reno 5 F, and it’s been made official in Kenya. The smartphone comes with a punch-hole display, MediaTek’s Helio P95 chipset, and an under-display fingerprint sensor.
Oppo Reno 5 F comes in only RAM and storage combination, and it’s priced at KES 32,499 ( ₹20,900 approx). It comes in two colour options of Fluid Black and Fantastic Purple with a gradient finish. It’s currently available only in Kenya but Oppo is expected to launch it in more markets soon. The smartphone has a punch-hole display, and pretty light weighing 172g.
In terms of specs, Oppo Reno 5 F features a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate, touch sampling rate of 135Hz which goes up to 180Hz in gaming mode. The smartphone is powered by MediaTek’s Helio P95 processor paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage.
In the photography department, Oppo Reno 5 F sports a quad-camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary sensor, an ultra wide angle lens with 119-degree field-of-view, a macro sensor, and a mono camera. For selfies, the smartphone features a 32-megapixel camera. Some of its camera features include AI-based colour portrait video, monochrome video, dual-view video, and bokeh mode.
The smartphone packs a 4,310mAh battery with support for 30W VOOC flash charge 4.0. Its connectivity options include dual nano SIM support, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.1, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. On the software front, Oppo Reno 5 F runs ColorOS 11.1 based on Android 11.
