Poco M2 Pro to come with 33W fast charging support

Poco M2 Pro is scheduled to launch in India next week. The company has been teasing its upcoming phone and it has now revealed some new details.

Poco M2 Pro will be available exclusively via Flipkart when it launches in India on June 7. The Flipkart listing page has quite a few details revealed about the smartphone. Poco M2 Pro is confirmed to come with support for 33W fast charging. Poco hasn’t revealed the battery capacity though.

Poco M2 Pro is also confirmed to run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. This too hasn’t been specified but rumours suggest the Poco M2 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 720G processor. This is the same chipset that the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max.

More details about the Poco M2 Pro include a quad camera setup at the rear. The four rear cameras are placed together in a square module like the one on the Redmi Note 9 series. With only three days to go for the launch, we’ll get to know all about the Poco M2 Pro.

Poco M2 Pro was recently spotted on Geekbench with the Snapdragon 720F chipset, and 6GB of RAM. This would most likely be the base model of the Poco M2 Pro. Poco is expected to offer the phone in more variants.

The Poco M2 Pro launch event is scheduled to start at 12:00 pm. This will be Poco’s second phone in India this year. It’s interesting to see whether the Poco M2 Pro will be another rebranded Xiaomi phone like Poco X2. Reports suggest Poco is actually launching the global version of Redmi Note 9 Pro as the Poco M2 Pro. This has obviously not been confirmed.
