Realme 8 to go on sale today in India at 12 pm

Realme 8 and Realme 8 Pro launched in India last month. Today, the 6GB+128GB variant of Realme 8 will go on sale in India. The smartphone comes in two more variants of 4GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB.

The sale of Realme 8 is scheduled to take place today at 12 pm on realme.com and Flipkart. The newly launched Realme C20 is also going on sale at the same time and place. As for the Realme 8, the 6GB+128GB variant is priced at 15,999. The smartphone comes in two colour options of Cyber Silver and Cyber Black.

In terms of specs, Realme 8 features a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with a punch-hole camera. Realme 8 also features an in-display fingerprint sensor. The smartphone is powered by MediaTek’s Helio G95 processor paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It also has a microSD card slot for storage expansion.

Realme 8 has a quad-camera setup at the rear featuring a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra wide angle lens, a 2-megapixel macro sensor and a 2-megapixel black and white sensor. For selfies, the smartphone sports a 16-megapixel punch-hole camera.

The smartphone packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 30W Dart charge technology that is said to charge to 100% in 65 minutes. Connectivity options on the Realme 8 include Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi, dual SIM, 4G LTE, and a USB Type-C port. The smartphone runs realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 out-of-the-box.
