Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi is reportedly soon going to launch a new iteration of Redmi K30. The new version, dubbed as Redmi K30i, is said to be stripped down version of the main variant. Xiaomi’s Redmi had launched the K30 in January this year.
According to a 91mobiles report, Redmi K30i will be available with 6GB and 128GB storage. The website says it will come in purple and white colour options. The phone is rumoured to be priced at CNY 1,799, which is nearly ₹19,500.
The older leaks claim that the Redmi K30i will feature a 48-megapixel rear camera. It will run on MediaTek’s new Dimensity 800 processor and may support 5G as well. Other specifications are likely to remain same as the main variant.
Separately, Xiaomi’s Redmi is also working on a Redmi 10X. Ahead of the official launch, the details of the phone have leaked multiple times. Earlier this week, leakster Ishan Agarwal said the phone will be part of the new four products scheduled to launch in China “very soon.”
According to leaks, Redmi 10X will come in 4G and 5G versions. The 4G variant will come in 4GB/128GB and 6GB/128GB variants in white, sky blue and green colour options. The 5G model will have the following options - 6GB/64GB, 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB.
Other leaked specifications of Redmi 10X include a 6.53-inch screen with a punch-hole display, four rear cameras including a 48-megapixel sensor, and MediaTek Helio G70 processor. The phone is rumoured to be priced at CNY 1,499 ( ₹16,000 approximately).
