Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will support Xbox cloud gaming: Report

There are detailed leaks and reports on the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra’s specs and design. Galaxy Note 20 Ultra could also come with optimisations for Microsoft’s cloud gaming service, Project xCloud.

Samsung announced its partnership with Microsoft earlier this year at the Galaxy S20 series launch. Samsung said it will bring support for Xbox cloud gaming on its smartphones. Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will come with support for Project xCloud and over 90 games, according to a report by WinFuture. Microsoft’s Project xCloud is currently available in testing on Android and iOS, and it will launch in September.

In addition to cloud gaming, the Microsoft-Samsung partnership will also bring automatic OneNote synchronisation on the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. This partnership actually goes back to last year with the Galaxy Note 10 which came with Microsoft apps such as OneDrive, Outlook, and Your Phone.

The report also specs of the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra like triple rear cameras. The smartphone will sport a 108-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra wide angle lens and a 12-megapixel periscope lens. The Note 20 Ultra will support 50x zoom and not 100x zoom like the Galaxy S20 Ultra.

More details on the new Note include a 6.9-inch QHD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate, Gorilla Glass 7, a 10-megapixel selfie camera, and 5G support. It is also said to pack 12GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of storage. The smartphone could come with a 4,500mAh battery.

Galaxy Note 20 Ultra also passed through the FCC confirming its chipset. The smartphone was listed with Qualcomm SM8250 which is the Snapdragon 865. It’s however expected to run on the new Snapdragon 865+ chipset. This would be on the US variant of the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. In other markets, the smartphone will launch with an Exynos chipset.
