Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite users start receiving One UI 3.0 with Android 11 update

Galaxy S10 Lite is the latest Samsung smartphone to receive the Android 11 update. The stable version of the update is available for Galaxy S10 Lite users with One UI 3.0.

The Android 11 update for Galaxy S10 Lite is sized around 2GB, and it has the firmware number G770FXXU3DTL1. This update also comes with the Android security patch for December 1, 2020. Galaxy S10 Lite users in India and Spain have started receiving the update. If there’s no notification for the One UI 3.0 update, you can head over to the software update under the settings menu.

The new update brings Android 11 features and One UI 3.0 customisations as well. The new features include a refreshed UI, chat bubbles, improvements to animations, homescreen, lock screen and always-on display. Users will also see a new section for conversations in the notification panel, and a more detailed media playback widget.

Samsung is yet to roll out the One UI 3.0 update with Android 11 for the Galaxy S10 series which includes the Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+. These phones currently support the beta version of the One UI 3.0 update. Samsung launched the Galaxy S10 Lite earlier this year. It starts at ₹39,999 for the base model, and it comes with a full HD+ Super AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space.

Prior to the Galaxy S10 Lite, Samsung rolled out the Android 11 update to the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy S20 smartphones.
