Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus’ latest leak reveals a newer design

Samsung may make some bold design changes in its Galaxy S21 series. With the official launch months away, Mysmartprice has published RAW CAD renders of what is being dubbed as Galaxy S21 Plus. The photos reveal a redesigned camera array and a flatter look and feel.

According to the report, Samsung Galaxy S21+ will measure 161.5×75.6×7.85mm and has a flat 6.7-inch display with a small punch-hole camera at the top centre. In comparison, Samsung Galaxy S0+ measures 161.9×73.7×7.8mm and has the same 6.7-inch screen. The latest model will have ultra-slim bezels on the sides, as leaked by Ice Universe last week.

As said earlier, Samsung Galaxy S21+ is seen with a redesigned camera panel. The report points out that the camera panel now blends into the frame and is placed on the top left corner. The panel houses as many as three sensors. An LED flash cutout can be seen next to the camera module.

The right edge houses a power button and volume rocker. The left edge does not have any button or cutouts. Just like the current-gen phones, the SIM slot is on the top panel. The base houses the USB Type-C port, microphone, and a speaker grille.

Separately, details about the colour variants of Samsung Galaxy S21 phones have also leaked online. Display industry analyst Ross Young claims Galaxy S21 will be available in Gray, Pink, Violet and White colours while the more powerful Galaxy S21+ will arrive in Black and Silver colours. The S21 Ultra will launch in Black, Silver and Violet colours. The analyst claims that these colour variants are “100%” finalised.

Samsung Galaxy S21 series is widely rumoured to launch early next year. Typically, the company launches its S-series flagship phones in February. We’re likely to find out more about the Galaxy S21 phones in the coming weeks.
