Snapdragon 888-powered Find X3 to launch in March, Oppo hints

Oppo has hinted that the company will launch its new flagship series, Find X3, in March.

According to myfixguide, Oppo has posted a teaser on Weibo with a message: “See you in March”. The message is accompanied by #Impossible Surface. The post is said to be directed at the launch of the Find X3 series.

There is already a lot of buzz around Oppo’s new flagship smartphone series. First, the company has already confirmed the Find X3 will be one of its first phones to offer Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 processor. Since then, the Find X3 details have appeared in a spate of leaks and rumours.

According to reports, Oppo Find X3 series will offer up to 12GB of RAM and Android 11 out-of-the-box. The Find X3 is rumoured to come with a 6.7-inch QHD+ display with AMOLED panel and up to 120Hz refresh rate. It is also said to come with Sony’s IMX766 50-megapixel camera, which is also found on Oppo’s Reno 5 Pro+ 5G smartphone.

Another leak doing the rounds is a Lite version of Oppo Find X3. Leaks claim Oppo Find X3 Lite will be a repackaged version of the recently launched Reno 5.

Oppo’s Reno 5 5G features a 6.4-inch full HD+ OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Running on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset, the smartphone comes in two variants of 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB. On the software front, Oppo Reno 5 5G has Android 11 with ColorOS 11.1 on top.

It also has a quad-camera setup featuring a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The smartphone comes with 32-megapixel front camera for selfies. Oppo Reno 5 5G runs on a 4,300mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging.
