Tecno launches its premium Tecno Phantom X: Check out all the specs

Tecno recently launched its premium smartphone, the Tecno Phantom X, in India. The Tecno Phantom X comes with a curved display and a slim forehead and chin and packs a triple rear camera on the back along with dual selfie cameras housed in a pill-shaped cutout. The Tecno Phantom X comes in two colour options (Monet’s Summer and Starry Night Blue) and a single RAM and storage variant. Under the hood, it is powered by the octa-core MediaTek Helio SoC. Now, Tecno has not announced the price of the Tecno Phantom X, but it is expected to do so soon.

Tecno Phantom X specs

The Tecno Phantom X comes with a 6.7-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED curved display (1,080 x 2,340 pixels) with a 90Hz refresh rate. Powering the device is the octa-core MediaTek Helio G95 SoC with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The Tecno Phantom X is available in only one variant but in two colours.

On the camera front, the Tecno Phantom X comes with a triple rear camera setup with included a 50MP primary sensor with an f/1.85 lens, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens that comes with a 120-degree FoV (field of view), and a 13MP portrait lens. The camera set-up also features a full pixel dual-core laser focus. Features on the camera include Super Night View 3.0, 20x zoom (both optical and digital). On the front, there is a 48MP primary sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens for selfies and video calls. There is a flash for the front cameras too, housed right next to the speaker grill.

For connectivity, the Tecno Phantom X comes with support for WiFi, GPS, LTE, FM Radio, Bluetooth, and a USB Type-C port. The smartphone comes with a gyroscope, gravity sensor, accelerometer, proximity sensor, and an ambient light sensor. For security, there is the in-display fingerprint sensor. The Tecno Phantom X has a 4,700mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.
