Tecno Spark 9 Pro gets BMW link; Check specs and features

The Tecno Spark 9 Pro debuted earlier this year globally in several colors. And now, the mobile manufacturer has collaborated with Designworks, the design innovation studio for the BMW Group to design the Spark 9 Pro in a unique BMW-themed colourway. The handset is being designed for selected markets in Africa, Latin America, and the Middle East. The new colourway of Tecno Spark 9 Pro was inspired by an “icy crystal talisman.” It has a unique blue and white color theme on the back panel. That’s not all, even the two camera modules have a unique pattern resembling the BMW logo.

The new BMW-themed design aims to offer a luxury smartphone experience to youngsters without having to spend a hefty amount. While most of the design tweaks will be applied to the outside of the phone, the inside features remain the same. Talking about the partnership, Andre De Salis, Creative Director, Industrial Design at Designworks said, “Working together with a company like Tecno is inspiring, as it gives us the opportunity to focus on another user experience – the smartphone.”

Tecno Spark 9 Pro features and specs

The Tecno Spark 9 Pro is equipped with the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM. The phone comes with 128GB of storage expandable through a microSD card. The handset further packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support. The Tecno Spark 9 Pro features a 6.6-inch FHD+ IPS LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate.

The display boasts a water drop notch style housing a 32 MP selfie camera while on the back, the Spark 9 Pro ships with a triple-camera setup comprising a 48 MP primary sensor, a 2 MP macro unit, and a 2 MP AI lens. On the software side, the Tecno Spark 9 Pro is supported by Android 12 with HiOS 8.6 on top. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and more.
