Samsung experimented with a powerful 108-megapixel camera on Galaxy S20 Ultra. The same or modified 108-megapixel camera is expected to come to the Galaxy Note series. The camera, however, will be available on the premium Galaxy Note 20 Ultra only. This model is expected to come with a combination of 108-megapixel primary sensor, 13-megapixel telephoto sensor, and 12-megapixel sensor.

Performance

Samsung didn’t receive a positive response to the Exynos 990 variant of the Galaxy S20. This forced the company to go ahead with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 SoC in more markets than it usually does. The Galaxy Note 20 series, however, will come with an improved in-house chip known as Exynos 992. The new processor is said to deliver 20% higher performance than the predecessor. Apart from the latest chipset, you can expect the Ultra model to offer up to 16GB of RAM. If launched, Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will be the most powerful Note smartphone in so far.

Display and design

Samsung is likely to make a minor change in the design. This includes adopting a matte-finish design for a more contemporary look and feel. The display will continue to be dual-edged, but the base model is likely to skip the 120Hz refresh rate and will be available with the premium Note 20 Ultra only. A high screen refresh rate paves the way for a smoother and faster screen experience.

Stylus

Stylus or S-Pen is one of the biggest highlights of Samsung’s Galaxy Note 20 series. Over the year, Samsung has improved the stylus to gel fluidly with the ever-changing Note’s form factor. Apart from allowing users to doodle on the screen, S-Pen has also evolved as a Bluetooth-remote control accessory. Apart from the hardware upgrades, Samsung has also tried to build an ecosystem of application or a store just for the S-Pen users. We’re expecting Samsung to enhance the S-Pen experience even further.
