Vivo V20 Pro 5G to launch in India today: Specs, expected price and availability details

Vivo has created enough buzz around its V20 Pro and now it seems all set to launch the handset officially soon in India at 12PM IST. Some rumours and leaks on the price have already been out there, giving us a fair idea. However, since the device launched in Thailand in September, the entire spec list is out. But there might be some minor change for the Indian variant. 

For the price, the handset was spotted listed on Reliance Digital, Poorvika Mobile, and Sangeetha Mobiles at ₹29,990 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model. It was also listed on Flipkart. There is still no confirmation though.

So far, we know that the design on the Vivo V20 Pro 5G launching here is going to be the same as the global version that was launched a few months ago. It is basically the next V20 series iteration from Vivo after the Vivo V20 and the Vivo V20 SE, both of which have already been launched in India.

The Vivo V20 Pro 5G will come with dual SIM support and run Android 10 out-of-the-box with FunTouch OS 11. As per the specifications on the global version, the Vivo V20 Pro 5G should come with a 6.44-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with HDR10 support and 60Hz refresh rate.

The screen is expected to sport a wider-notch to house the dual selfie cameras.

The Vivo V20 Pro 5G should come with the Snapdragon 765G SoC under the hood with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage that can be expanded via microSD.

The Vivo V20 Pro 5G is expected to come with a 4,000mAh battery and a 33W fast charge support.

For cameras, the Vivo V20 Pro 5G has three cameras on the back - a 64MP primary shooter, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP monochrome sensor. On the font the Vivo V20 Pro 5G has a 44MP primary selfie camera and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor.

The Vivo V20 Pro 5G is going to have an in-display fingerprint scanner for security.
