Apple’s iPhone 12 series sold almost 2 lakh units on Flipkart during the first two days and now Xiaomi has released its figures too. The company has managed to sell almost 2 million units of its smartphones across all the platforms during the festive sales. Note that this data comes from the first five days of the sale period across Amazon, Flipkart and Mi.com.
Xiaomi’s products sold across Mi.com, Amazon’s Great Indian Festival Sale, and Flipkart Big Billion Days sale with notable discounts. Among all the models on offer, the models that were most sought after were the Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G and the Mi 11X series phones. Towards the affordable end, it was the Redmi Note 10 Pro, Redmi Note 10S, and Redmi 9 series devices that sold the most.
The company also states recording a 10X growth in the segment above ₹20,000 compared to last year. This is the category where Xiaomi’s popular Mi 11X and Mi 11X Pro observed massive discounts. The newly launched Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G also falls in this bracket, competing with midrange options from Oppo, Vivo, Realme and Motorola.
The Xiaomi Mi 11X was one of the highly discounted smartphones available during the sale. Launched originally at a starting price of ₹29,999, the base variant of the Mi 11X was selling at a price of under ₹20,000 with all offers and discounts applied. For a smartphone having the Snapdragon 870 chip and a 120Hz AMOLED display, this was (and still is) a great deal for mobile gamers.
The Mi 11X Pro with the Snapdragon 888 was also selling at ₹36,999 and with the bank offers applied, it was available for almost ₹30,000. The Pro variant gains the 108MP main camera instead of the 48MP main camera.
Meanwhile, the company’s TV division also managed to move 1 lakh units within the first three days of the sale period. The models that were in high demand include the Redmi Smart TV X 50, Mi TV 4A 32-inch, and the recently launched Mi TV 5X 43-inch.
