"As is our process, we take appropriate action when we have evidence that a streamer has acted in violation of our Community Guidelines or Terms of Service. These apply to all streamers regardless of status or prominence in the community,” Twitch had said.

The Verge in its report pointed out that Twitch had even refused to confirm the ban on the streamer. Nonetheless, Dr Disrespect is no longer available on Twitch.

Interestingly, Twitch had entered a multi-year deal with Mr Disrespect in March this year. According to reports, the streamer was paid millions of dollars for the exclusivity.
