iOS 16 to reach iPhone 13 and older models LATE! Reasons behind this are CONCERNING
iOS 16 update for iPhone 13 and older models could reach late to the public while in beta testing. Here is everything you need to know about it.
iOS 16 is merely a few months way now but the news regarding its arrival could be disheartening for Apple fans! In less than a month, Apple is going to announce iOS 16 at the WWDC22 event. As is the norm, Apple prepares the developer builds for testing to the community soon after, and by late June, the first public beta versions are out. This year though, rumours suggest that the public beta versions could take their own sweet time to arrive. In fact, the first two releases of the public beta may skip us entirely!
Bloomberg's Mark Gurman says that the iOS 16 development is facing some issues owing to bugs and issues in the early builds. Hence, Apple could take more time to squash them and make the beta version more stable. By the time the bugs are squashed enough for the public, Apple may be seeding the third beta version to users around the world. Gurman, however, says that development process is fluid anything's could shifter iOS 16. Hence, there is still possibility that Apple could release the beta versions of iOS 16 timely.

iOS 16 could be delayed this year
Over the last few years, Apple has mostly met timely release deadlines for its public beta versions of iOS. Last year's iOS 15 came out early and while it did not bring much to the iPhone other than the Focus mode, it was iPadOS 15 that got a lot of changes, especially with the customisable home screen that could now handle widgets.
With iOS 16, rumours suggest that Apple is going to improve its notifications management system. Apple had introduced Notifications Summary a few versions ago and updated the notification boxes. However, there could be some big changes this time and we expect to see something more akin to how Android handles its notifications.
Other than that, iOS 16 is also said to bring a couple of health tracking features and a few other changes. iPadOS 16 is said to bring a new multitasking UI while watchOS9 may bring some additional health tracking features, similar to iOS 16.

Rumours also suggest that the iOS 16 update could exclude the iPhone 6s and iPhone SE 1st Gen this year. All iPhone models from iPhone 7 and newer could be supported this year.
