Nokia 2.4 Wolverine set to launch with these features, specs
HMD Global is set to launch new Nokia phones at its IFA event. Here is what you need to know about the upcoming Nokia 2.4.
Codenamed Wolverine, Nokia 2.4 is one of the phones HMD Global is going to launch at the upcoming IFA 2020 conference in Berlin. Ahead of the official launch, Nokia 2.4 details have leaked in an unofficial render.
Posted by leakster Evleaks, Nokia 2.4 is seen sporting a full-screen display with a waterdrop notch on the front. The phone looks identical to the recently launched Nokia phones as it has a Nokia branding at the bottom. On the back, Nokia 2.4 has a vertical camera module at the top centre followed by a fingerprint sensor and Nokia branding. The panel appears to be a plastic shell with a textured finish. Volume and power buttons are located on the right edge. There is a dedicated Google Assistant launcher on the right edge of the phone.
According to reports, Nokia 2.4 will feature a larger 6.5-inch display. The phone is said to run on MediaTek Helio P22 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of built-in storage. Nokia 2.4 could also be available in a 3GB and 32GB variant.
In the camera department, Nokia 2.4 is said to have two sensors on the back – 13-megapixel and 2-megapixel. On the front, it has a single camera featuring a 5-megapixel sensor.
Nokia 2.4 will succeed the popular Nokia 2.3 which launched in India in December last year. Priced at ₹8,199, the phone a 6.1-inch HD+ display with a 'selfie notch'. It runs on MediaTek Helio A22 chipset coupled with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. The phone supports storage expansion up to 400GB via a microSD card. Nokia 2.3 features a 13-megapixel sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor on the back. For selfies, Nokia 2.3 offers a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It is powered by a 4,000mAh battery.
Apart from Nokia 2.4, HMD Global is also expected to showcase Nokia 6.3 and Nokia 7.3. There are also possibilities of the launch of Nokia 9 PureView at the IFA event.
