Nokia 3.4, Nokia 2.4 budget smartphones launched, all you need to know

Nokia 3.4 and Nokia 2.4 are the latest budget offerings from HMD Global. Here are the full specifications and availability details of the new Nokia phones.

HMD Global has launched two new Nokia smartphones today in the budget segment. Nokia 3.4 and Nokia 2.4 have been made official in Europe. Both phones are expected to launch in India soon.

Nokia 3.4 starts at 159 euros ( 13,800 approx) for the base model with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. It comes in three colour options of Fjord, Dusk and Charcoal. Nokia 3.4 will be available globally from early October onwards. Nokia 2.4 has a starting price of 119 euros ( 10,300 approx), and it has the same colour options as the Nokia 3.4. Sales for this phone will begin by September end.

Nokia 3.4 has a punch-hole design with a 6.3-inch HD+ display. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 460 processor. It comes in two more variants of 3GB+64GB and 4GB+64GB. The storage is expandable up to 512GB. On the software front, Nokia 3.4 runs Android 10, and it’s confirmed to get Android 11 as well.

On the Nokia 3.4 you get a triple camera setup with a 13-megapixel primary sensor, 2-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens. For selfies there’s an 8-megapixel front camera on the Nokia 3.4.

The smartphone packs a 4,000mAh battery. Its connectivity options include USB Type-C port, dual SIM support,3.5mm headphone jack, and Bluetooth 4.2. It also comes with a dedicated Google Assistant button, and a rear fingerprint sensor.

Nokia 2.4 features a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a notch on top. The smartphone runs MediaTek’s Helio P22 chipset paired with up to 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Nokia 2.4 is also Android 11 ready, and it comes with Android 10 out-of-the-box.

The smartphone has a dual camera setup with a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It sports a 5-megapixel front camera for selfies. Nokia 2.4 is fuelled by a 4,500mAh battery. It comes with a micro USB port, 3.5mm headphone jack, NFC and a Google Assistant button. Nokia 2.4 also has a rear fingerprint sensor.
