Oppo A15 to launch in India today, here's what to expect

Oppo will launch its new A15 smartphone in India later today. Oppo has been teasing its upcoming smartphone on Amazon India where it will also go on sale.

Oppo A15 is scheduled to launch today at 12 pm. The smartphone is currently listed on Amazon India with a ‘Notify Me' button that users can click on to get the latest updates. Oppo has so far confirmed triple rear cameras, a rear fingerprint sensor and a notched display for the A15. In terms of specs, Oppo A15 will feature a 6.52-inch display with a water drop-style notch on top.

Oppo A15 has also been teased in a blue colour which would be one of the colour options. The rear camera setup features a 13-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.

The full specifications, and features of Oppo A15 will be revealed today but the smartphone leaked recently giving us an idea on what to expect. Oppo A15 is expected to be powered by MediaTek's Helio P35 chipset paired with 3GB of RAM. The smartphone could come with 32GB of internal storage. It will also have a microSD card support for expandable storage. The smartphone will most likely be offered in more storage options.

Oppo A15 is also said to feature a 5-megapixel selfie camera, and a 4,230mAh battery. On the software front, it will run Android 10-based ColorOS 7.2 out-of-the-box. Oppo A15 is expected to go on sale during the Amazon Great Indian Festival scheduled to start on October 17.
