Oppo A93 5G is company’s new mid-range phone with 5G support: Price, specs

Oppo has expanded its smartphone line up with a new mid-range handset called Oppo A93 5G. This has been officially launched in China and comes with some key specs like Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 processor, triple rear cameras, 5G support and a 5000mAh battery. The A93 5G is priced at CNY 1999 (roughly ₹22,500) for the 8GB + 256GB model. The one with 128GB storage has also been announced but the pricing is not yet out.

As for the specifications, the Oppo A93 5G runs Android 11-based ColourOS 11.1. There is a 6.5-inch full HD+ display along with 9Hz refresh rate and 405ppi pixel density. Besides Snapdragon 480 processor, you get three cameras at the back, including a 48-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture, a 2-megapixel macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture and another 2-megapixel monochrome sensor with f/2.4 aperture. For selfies, the smartphone comes with an 8-megapixel camera with f/2 aperture. 

Backing the entire handset is a 5,000mAh battery that also supports 18W fast charging. Some connectivity options included here are side mounted fingerprint sensor, USB type C port, 3.5mm audio jack and Bluetooth 5.1.
