Oppo A93 5G is company’s new mid-range phone with 5G support: Price, specs

The 256GB storage variant can be pre-ordered from JD.com and the shipping is expected to begin from January 20. You can get the handset in Silver, Black and Aurora colour options.

Oppo has expanded its smartphone line up with a new mid-range handset called Oppo A93 5G. This has been officially launched in China and comes with some key specs like Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 processor, triple rear cameras, 5G support and a 5000mAh battery. The A93 5G is priced at CNY 1999 (roughly 22,500) for the 8GB + 256GB model. The one with 128GB storage has also been announced but the pricing is not yet out.

As for the specifications, the Oppo A93 5G runs Android 11-based ColourOS 11.1. There is a 6.5-inch full HD+ display along with 9Hz refresh rate and 405ppi pixel density. Besides Snapdragon 480 processor, you get three cameras at the back, including a 48-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture, a 2-megapixel macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture and another 2-megapixel monochrome sensor with f/2.4 aperture. For selfies, the smartphone comes with an 8-megapixel camera with f/2 aperture. 

Backing the entire handset is a 5,000mAh battery that also supports 18W fast charging. Some connectivity options included here are side mounted fingerprint sensor, USB type C port, 3.5mm audio jack and Bluetooth 5.1.
