Oppo Find X3 shows up on benchmarking website, reveals specs

More leaks and speculations about Oppo's upcoming flagship smartphone, Find X3 has started hitting the web. Recently we saw a few screenshots that revealed the handset with a model code PEDM00 that runs Android 11 based colorOS 11.2 and has 8GB of RAM. Now, the handset seems to have popped up on the benchmarking website Geekbench, showing the previously speculated 8GB of RAM and Android 11 operating system.
It's worth mentioning that in the benchmark (via MySmartPrice), the chipset powering the Find X3 is listed as ‘Kona', which is the code name of Snapdragon 865 processor. This contradicts a previous leak that showed the ‘About' page of the Find X3, revealing the device to feature the Snapdragon 870 processor under the hood. For those unaware, the Snapdragon 870 SoC is essentially the Snapdragon 865+ but with the prime core clocked at 3.2GHz. In the benchmark result, we see the multi core score of the Oppo Find X3 around 12,843, whereas the single core score was 4280.

Interestingly, the multi core performance is said to be lower than what some Snapdragon 865 based smartphones have achieved in the past. It leads to speculation that the unit that is being benchmarked might be a pre-production model. And the final results may be more
Based on previous rumors and leaks, the Oppo Find X3 is expected to feature a full HD+ screen, 256GB inbuilt storage and a 12.6-megapixel camera. We might hear more about the device in the coming days.
