Oppo is working on a new smartphone under its Reno 5 series. Called Reno 5 Z, the smartphone has made an appearance on the US FCC website. The phone had recently appeared on the Bluetooth certification website.

According to the FCC listing, Oppo's Reno 5 Z will run on Android 11-based ColorOS 11.1. The smartphone will have a 4,310mAh battery. It is also said to ship with a 30W charger.

The listing also features a schematic of the phone. The image shows the phone has a triple-rear camera setup. The volume rocker is located on the left edge. The power button is placed on the right edge. According to the listing, the phone will be 7.8mm slim. It would weigh around 175 grams.

At the moment, there is no word on when the phone will officially launch. We're likely to find out more about the specifications in the coming days.

That said, Oppo has already launched Reno 5 Pro 5G in India. The handset comes with a 6.4-inch full HD+ OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. A MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ chipset powers the phone. It also has 12GB of RAM. The phone comes with 256GB of built-in storage. A 4,350mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging powers the phone.

Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G also packs a quad-camera setup featuring a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The smartphone has a 32-megapixel front camera for selfies.

Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G is available in India for 35,990.
