Vivo X60 series could launch globally soon
According to rumours, Vivo X60 Pro+ will launch in India next month. Here is what you need to know about the new handset series.
Vivo may soon launch its X60 series globally. As of now, there is no official launch date yet. According to reports, the smartphone series has appeared at certification sites in Indonesia and India, hinting at the imminent launch.
According to a GSMArena report, Vivo X60 with model number V2045 has appeared on Indonesia Telekom's website. The same model number has surfaced on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). Another model number Vivo V2046 has appeared on the EEC certification site in Europe.
That said, Vivo is expected to launch its X60 Pro+ variant in India next month. The company has already launched the phone in China.
Vivo X60 Pro+ features a 6.56-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. It also features support for HDR10 and HDR10+ and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The handset has a 48-megapixel Sony IMX598 primary camera, a 50-megapixel Samsung GN1 sensor, a 32-megapixel depth sensor, and an 8-megapixel periscope camera with 60x superzoom. For selfies, the Vivo X60 Pro+ sports a 32-megapixel punch-hole camera.
The highlight of the phone is Qualcomm's Snapdragon 888 processor. The chipset is coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The base model has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. A 4,200mAh battery powers the phone. It also has 55W fast charging. On the software front, it comes with OriginOS 1.0 based on Android 11.
As far as the lineup goes, the Vivo X60 series features vanilla X60 and X60 Pro. Both the phones come with 6.56-inch AMOLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate and HDR 10+ support. The base model runs on Exynos 1080 SoC coupled with up to 12GB of RAM. It comes with up to 256GB of storage. On the software front, it runs Android 11-based OriginOS. The X60 has a triple-rear camera setup that consists of a 48-megapixel primary sensor and two 13-megapixel sensors. For selfies, it comes with a 32-megapixel camera.
The Pro model has the same display specs. The phone comes with better camera specs – 48-megapixel primary sensor, two 13-megapixel sensors, and one 8-megapixel sensor. For selfies, it has a 32-megapixel selfie camera. The X60 runs on a 4,300mAh battery, while the X60 Pro has a 4,200mAh battery.
