Vivo X60 Pro+ with Snapdragon 888, 50MP quad camera launched

Vivo X60 Pro+ is the company’s first phone and among the few to launch with Qualcomm’s flagship 888 processor. It also boasts an impressive camera array with ZEISS optics, and improved gimbal stabilisation.

Vivo's Snapdragon 888-powered smartphone is official. Vivo X60 Pro+ also comes with an upgraded gimbal camera stabilisation, ZEISS optics, and up to 12GB of RAM.

Vivo X60 Pro+ starts at CNY 4,998 ( 56,500 approx) for the base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. It also comes with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage that costs CNY 5,998 ( 67,700 approx). The smartphone is currently up for pre-orders in China, and there's no word on its global launch yet. Its colour options include blue and orange.

Vivo X60 Pro+ is the company's first phone and among the few to launch with Qualcomm's flagship 888 processor. It also boasts an impressive camera array with a 48-megapixel Sony IMX598 primary camera, a 50-megapixel Samsung GN1 sensor, a 32-megapixel depth sensor, and an 8-megapixel periscope camera with 60x super zoom. For selfies, Vivo X60 Pro+ sports a 32-megapixel punch-hole camera.

The smartphone also features Zeiss T* coating for better light transmission through the camera lens. It also comes with improved gimbal stabilisation which we saw first on the Vivo X50 Pro.

As for the rest of the specifications, Vivo X60 Pro+ features a 6.56-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. It also has support for HDR10 and HDR10+, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The smartphone packs a 4,200mAh battery with support for 55W fast charging. On the software front, Vivo X60 Pro+ runs OriginOS 1.0 based on Android 11.
