Apple iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus: Reliance Digital offers 70% buyback on the new iPhones

Reliance Jio is offering a ₹799 plan under which iPhone 8 users will get 90 GB of data per month.

Apple's iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus will launch in India on September 29. With prices starting at ₹64,000, the new iPhones will go on sale via Amazon.in, Reliance Digital, Jio.com, and Jio Store along with other retail stores. Ahead of the sale, Reliance Digital has announced new schemes on the purchase of new iPhones.

Reliance Digital is offering a '70% buyback offer 'on the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. Under this offer, a "customer would be eligible for 70% of the original purchase price as buyback amount on return of the device after a year." Customers can avail this offer at Reliance Digital or Amazon.in as well as MyJio, Jio.com and Jio Store. Furthermore, Citibank Credit Card customers will get ₹10,000 cashback on purchasing the new iPhone on the first day of the sale.

Reliance Jio is also offering a special tariff plan for the new iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. Under the ₹799 plan, postpaid Reliance Jio users will get 90GB of data per month along with free voice, SMS and complimentary subscription to Jio's premium applications. The same ₹799 plan is available for prepaid users.

Reliance Digital will also be taking pre-orders for the iPhone X from October 27 while sales will begin from November 3.

Separately, Flipkart has announced that it will start taking pre-orders for the Apple Watch Series 3 from September 22 followed by the official launch on September 29. The e-commerce company is offering a No Cost EMI option and priority delivery on the launch day itself in select cities.
