The service lets teachers, staff and students work together via cloud storage and lets the administrators completely control the security. With this service, Dropbox is taking on Google,which is already popular in schools with the additional advantage of a hardware backing via Chromebooks. Microsoft also offers plans for schools and colleges.Dropbox will have to fight its two competitors in cloud to make a dent in the education sector.
