Due out May 1 in the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, May 22 in France and June 1 in the UK, the Netherlands, Italy, Germany and Spain, the Glo HD is to retail for $129.99 CAD/USD.
It has a 300ppi, 6' Carta E Ink HD touch screen and a 1GHz processor, plus 4GB of storage and a weight of 180g -- 'about the same as a sushi roll,' says the company.
Kobo, which is owned by Japanese e-commerce company Rakuten, previously released the waterproof e-reader Aura H2O in August 2014.
