New WhatsApp Desktop features coming soon; Check them out here
Users will soon get some new WhatsApp Desktop features and here is a peek at them.
New WhatsApp Desktop features are coming soon! You will be able to listen to WhatsApp voice notes and audio messages even outside the chat window. A recent report by Wabetainfo suggested the development of the new feature. The WhatsApp feature is known as the 'global voice note player' which is already live for some WhatsApp Desktop users, as it had previously been used to test the global voice note player on the WhatsApp iOS beta app. Now, this feature came to WhatsApp Desktop weeks after it was first spotted in an iOS beta update. What will this feature do?
Now with this WhatsApp feature, users on the desktop version of the app can listen to voice notes while switching to another chat in WhatsApp. It will not stop playing the voice note. At the bottom of the chat list, the new audio player bar will appear along with a playback button that allows users to manage the voice note, and the tracking indicator lets them know when the voice note is completed.
Thanks to this feature you will no longer need to stay in a chat to listen to the whole voice note, no matter how long it is. You must have experienced the frustration during the sudden break in voice note recording while exiting from the chat, but now that is in the past as you will be able to multi-task with this new feature. You can respond to another text, share images, play videos or whatever you want to.
Recently, WhatsApp added the Play and Pause button to voice recording feature to WhatsApp users, which allows them to record and then pause in between and continue the recording after a while.
There is another feature too..
Not just a voice note update, but WhatsApp Beta just got dark mode in the latest update of 2.2205.2.0, Windows Central reported. According to the report, the dark mode remains active throughout the app, including the settings page, chat background, and title bar too. WhatsApp Beta allows users to try out new and experimental WhatsApp features.
