Nokia 5 to go on sale in India from August 15 for ₹12,499: Specifications, features
The Nokia 5 will join the Nokia 3 and Nokia 3310 phones in India. The Nokia 5 will be competing against the likes of Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 and Lenovo K8 Note.
HMD Global, which owns the Nokia brand, on Monday announced the launch of its Nokia 5 smartphone in India. Priced at ₹12,499, the smartphone will go on sale across retail stores in the country from August 15.
"People today want something that fits in the palm of their hands and they want something that will go the distance. 'Nokia 5' is the ultimate pocketable phone at 5.2 inches with a very unique design," Ajey Mehta, Vice-President, HMD Global India, said in a statement.
Nokia 5 Specifications
The Nokia 5 comes with 16GB of internal storage and supports expandable storage up to 128GB with microSD card. The phone sports a 13MP rear camera with dual flash which has been optimised for all light conditions and 8MP front camera for selfies. Equipped with a 3000mAh battery, 'Nokia 5' comes with biometric fingerprint authentication feature.
