OnePlus 6 Marvel Avengers edition launched in India, priced at ₹44,999

At the OnePlus 6 India launch today, the company also unveiled the Marvel Avengers edition of the smartphone. The limited edition of OnePlus 6 is priced at ₹44,999 and will be available for purchase starting May 29 via Amazon India.

OnePlus has also introduced an Iron Man-themed back panel.

The Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War-themed smartphone comes with a Kevlar-based patterned rear panel, with the Avengers logo engraved in gold in the bottom at the back. OnePlus has also included a matching company logo at the back and an alert slider on the right edge in gold.

OnePlus 6 Marvel Avengers edition comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Rest of the specifications of the smartphone remains the same. Running on Android 8.1 Oreo-based OxygenOS 5.1, the smartphone is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 845 processor. On the front, it has a 6.28-inch full HD+ full Optic AMOLED display with 19:9 aspect ratio and 84% screen-to-body ratio.

It has a 16-megapixel selfie camera. On the back, it has a dual-rear camera setup that consists of a 16-megapixel sensor and 20-megapixel sensor.

Other key features of the phone include 3,300mAh battery, dual-SIM, and 3.5mm headphone jack.

OnePlus 6's regular models are available in three colour options — Mirror Black, Midnight Black and the limited edition Silk White.

This is not the first time when OnePlus has launched a limited edition phone based on a popular movie. Last year, the company had launched a Star Wars-themed OnePlus 5T. The back panel featured Star Wars logo, a matching red slider and came with a range of Star Wars wallpapers and themes. The limited edition was launched in India for ₹38,999.
