Based on the well-known board game, indebted to the 'Alien' film franchise, and with a classic 1993 video game conversion to surpass, a re-envisioned 'Space Hulk' is heading for release this August 15 on Mac and PC, with iOS due to follow afterwards.
Players will be able to lead a squad of Space Marines stomping around the claustrophobic corridors of an abandoned spaceship, ravaged by vicious aliens lurking in the dark.
Like 2012's super well-received 'XCOM: Enemy Unknown,' 'Space Hulk' is a strategic game in which players take turns to outwit and outgun alien enemies.
Not only that but it's also got a multiplayer mode which will be able to link up players on Windows PCs, Macs and iOS devices.
The Copenhagen-based studio Full Control should be in good stead, having demonstrated its preference for creating strategic titles, and recently winning over the Kickstarter masses with a $360,000 campaign for future project 'Jagged Alliance: Flashback.'
This latest trailer celebrates the opening of 'Space Hulk' pre-orders ahead of the game's release in a fortnight's time, with Full Control listing it at $30 (€28 / £23 / AU$29) plus a couple of extra cosmetic tweaks for those that get in on it early.
