Spotify Wrapped 2020: Here are the most streamed K-Pop artists and songs

BTS grabbed all the number one spots for the top K-Pop artist, song and album.

Spotify revealed its top artists, albums and podcasts of 2020 earlier this week. It has now revealed the top K-Pop artists and tracks of 2020, and the results aren’t surprising at all. Spotify Wrapped 2020 for listeners and artists is also available now.

BTS is the top K-Pop artist on Spotify in 2020, and it’s also the most streamed group globally. BTS amassed over 5 billion streams on Spotify this year. BTS is also the only international act to feature in the top 5 artists in India. BTS took the number one spot in other categories as well. It’s first English single Dynamite is the most streamed K-Pop song this year, and Map of the Soul: 7 is the most streamed K-Pop album on Spotify. Dynamite even set a new Spotify record of reaching 12.6 million streams in the first 24 hours. Dynamite had also set a YouTube record for the fastest video to reach 101 million views in 24 hours.

Blackpink became the second most streamed K-Pop artist of the year with over 300 million streams. Blackpink also took the second spot for the most streamed song with How You Like That. Following Blackpink is Twice, Stray Kids, Red Velvet and EXO in the top streamed K-Pop artists globally.

Spotify also shared the most streamed Korean OSTs globally. V’s Sweet Night from Itaewon Class took the first spot. It looks like people still can’t get over Guardian as its OST Stay With Me by Chanyeol and Punch took the second spot. Among the top Korean R&B tracks, Baekhyun’s Candy and UN Village were among the most streamed, and Zico’s Any song was the most streamed Korean Hip-Hop track.
