The first leaked images of the iPhone 6S are here

The leaked photos reveal that the iPhone 6S will look identical to the iPhone 6 from the outside, but there will, in fact, be many internal changes — mostly unexciting stuff like new mounting points for the phone’s new logic board and components.

We all know that a new iPhone is round the corner. Apple releases these things like clockwork everywhere sometime in September. Now, a new report from 9to5Mac's Mark Gurman, who is perhaps the most reliable source for all Apple leaks, has revealed the next iPhone in all its glory.

The leaked photos reveal that the iPhone 6S will look identical to the iPhone 6 from the outside, but there will, in fact, be many internal changes — mostly unexciting stuff like new mounting points for the phone's new logic board and components.

However, the leaked images reveal that there will be no dual-lens camera system on the next iPhone as was rumoured. This doesn't mean that the iPhone 6S will not receive a camera upgrade, it just means that this particular year, at least, we will still have a single camera on the back of the phone.
