Voot Select completes 1 year, to add more exclusive global content this year

Voot Select offers content 24 hours before broadcasting on TV, and a 24-hour access to the live channel of Big Boss. Some of its originals include ‘The Gone Game’ which was shot during the lockdown, Asur, Illegal, Raikar Case, Marzi and Crackdown.

Voot Select, one of the latest entrant in the premium video-on-demand platforms, has completed one year. Voot Select is available in two packages starting at ₹99 per month, and ₹999 per year. It offers original content, live TV, and global content from studios like CBS, Showtime, Chelsea TV, Arsenal TV and more.

Voot Select reached one million active direct paying subscribers in less than a year of its launch, the company said in a release. The platform offers content 24 hours before broadcasting on TV, and a 24-hour access to the live channel of Big Boss. Some of its originals include ‘The Gone Game' which was shot during the lockdown, Asur, Illegal, Raikar Case, Marzi and Crackdown.

It also plans to add more exclusive shows from Paramount+ including Dexter (Limited Series), Ray Donavan Feature-Length Film, The First Lady and Frasier (Reboot) & Why Women Kill S2.

Voot Select is available on Android, iOS, web and smart TVs. Around 40% of its viewership has been from smart TVs, the company added. It offers access to over 15,000 hours of content across 10 languages. Voot Select plans to ramp up its international offerings, while leveraging on originals and content before TV in the year ahead.
