Asus ProArt StudioBook 16 has “rotary DIAL” for Pros, OLED display as standard

Asus has launched its creator-friendly series of professional work laptops in India. The Asus ProArt StudioBook 16 OLED is the flagship model in the lineup while the more affordable variants come in the form of the VivoBook Pro 14X/16X, and VivoBook Pro 14/15 OLED. The VivoBook models are available starting today whereas the StudioBook 16 OLED will be available from January 2022.

Before we go into the features, here are the prices. The VivoBook Pro 14 and Pro 15 will set you back by ₹74,990 for the Intel powered variants. The AMD powered variant of the VivoBook Pro 14 costs ₹94,990. The VivoBook Pro 14X with Intel processors costs ₹94,990 whereas the AMD version costs ₹1,09,990.

The AMD powered VivoBook 15 OLED costs ₹1,04,990 whereas the VivoBook Pro 16X AMD costs ₹1,24,990. The flagship ProArt StudioBook 16 OLED starts from ₹1,69,990.

Asus ProArt StudioBook 16 OLED features

The StudioBook 16 OLED features AMD Ryzen 5000 series (H5600) processors, choice of up to NVIDIA RTX 3070 graphics, a 16-inch 4K OLED HDR 16:10 display with 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut, PANTONE Validated and Calman Verified certifications, factory-calibrated Delta-E < 2 color accuracy and VESA DisplayHDR 500 True Black accreditation.

The Asus Dial is the highlight here that allows for quick control adjustments while working in compatible Adobe apps, such as Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Photoshop Lightroom Classic, and After Effects. The laptop also offers PCIe 3.0 x4 or PCIe 4.0 x4 SSDs, up to 64GB of 3200 MHz DDR4 RAM or USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports, plus HDMI 2.1 and an SD Express 7.0 card reader.

VivoBook Pro 14X/16X OLED features

The VivoBook Pro 14X/16X models feature a 14-inch or 16-inch NanoEdge 4K OLED display respectively. You get the choice of an AMD Ryzen 5000 H Series processor or Intel Core i7 chips. For graphics, these laptops come with up to NVIDIA RTX 3050 Ti graphics. The dial from the StudioBook 16 gets a digital version, called DialPad that allows the same functions.

VivoBook Pro 14/15 OLED features

The VivoBook Pro 14/15 OLED features a 14-inch or 15-inch NanoEdge display with eithe 2.8K resolution of FHD+, both with OLED panels behind. These model offer the choise of an AMD Ryzen 5000 H Series processor or an Intel Core i7. GPU options inlcude an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 graphics. Other features include a dual-fan cooling system, and Wi-Fi 6.
