Microsoft Surface Laptop Go launched in India: Price and specs

Microsoft on Wednesday launched the Surface Laptop Go in India. The newly launched laptop, which is a more affordable version of its flagship Surface Laptop series, will go on sale in India starting January 22 via authorized resellers, authorized retail and online partners such as Reliance Digital and Amazon at no-cost EMIs up to 9 months starting ₹8,000 per month. It is available in both commercial and consumer versions.

As far as the prices are concerned, while the commercial version of the i5 Surface Laptop Go with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage space costs ₹63,499, the 16GB RAM and 256GB storage variant cost ₹110,999.

Similarly, the commercial device with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of space costs ₹76,199, while the device with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of space costs ₹92,999. The consumer models of these laptops cost ₹71,999 and ₹91,999 respectively.

Surface Laptop Go specs

The Microsoft Surface Laptop Go weighs just 1.11kgs and it comes with a 12.4-inch PixelSense touchscreen display with an aspect ratio of 3:2 and a full-size keyboard with 1.3mm keys. It is powered by the latest 10th Gen Intel i5 quad-core processor that is coupled with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage space. For connectivity, it has USB Type-C and USB Type-A ports and it features support for Microsoft 365.

It has Windows Hello and One Touch sign-in with a fingerprint reader Power button for security. Microsoft says that the One Touch sign-in also provides fast and secured access to OneDrive Personal Vault files and more for quick productivity. It also has built-in studio mics, Omnisonic speakers, Dolby Audio and a 720p HD camera. Additionally, it has Microsoft Endpoint Manager and Device Firmware Configuration Interface (DFCI), Surface Laptop Go offers Windows Autopilot to reduce IT complexity by deploying straight to employees.

The Surface Laptop Go is available in the Platinum colour variant.
