Realme has been looking to build the hype up around its latest smartphone launch and for that it has left no stone unturned, even roping in other products, which have served as teasers. Realme GT 5G launch event has been scheduled for June 15. This is confirmed, and the company has been teasing the Realme GT 5G ahead of the event, though the price in India is yet to be revealed. However, Realme is also looking to grab eyeballs with a couple of new products. Realme started teasing a new laptop and a tablet, but aside from a partial glimpse, it hasn’t revealed much about these products. A report now suggests that Realme will launch its first laptop and tablet on June 15 itself.

So, where is all this hype surrounding these products coming from? This speculation about the Realme laptop and tablet launch comes from a press invite about the June 15 event. According to a report by GSMArena, the press message mentions how Realme’s smartphone business has grown “by leaps and bounds” and it’s time to bring more “leap-forward products”. This hints at Realme expanding its product lineup to more categories. The company already has a wide range of products including smart fitness bands, smartwatches, and wireless earbuds.

Not that Realme has been reticent about what is in store for customers. The company has gone ahead and teased both the laptop and the tablet. Laptop was first teased by Realme CEO Madhav Sheth on Twitter who shared an image of the product peeking out of a paper bag. The tablet was first teased by Realme CMO Francis Wong who had asked fans on Twitter what the new Realme tablet should be called - Realme Pad or Realme Tab. So, as things stand, and reading between the lines, it could be that the new products are unveiled at the Realme GT 5G smartphone launch.

Realme Laptop

The laptop is expected to be called “Realme Book” and it has a MacBook-like design based on its leaked images. The Realme Book has an aluminum body and thin bezels along with dual speaker grilles at the bottom. The Realme branding is placed on top of the laptop.

Realme Pad/Tab

As for the Realme Pad, its leaked image shows the tablet’s side profile which reveals sharp edges and a small bump for the rear camera. This too looks like an Apple-designed tablet, more specifically the iPad Pro. The leaked image also showed the GT branding on top of the Realme Pad’s leaked image hinting that it could actually debut at the Realme GT 5G launch on June 15. As far as letting the fans pick a name for the tab is concerned, although Realme Tab received more votes, it looks like the company might go for Realme Pad. But nothing is confirmed yet.
