The company’s first devices to be revealed on Wednesday were the Galaxy Book Pro and the Galaxy Book Pro 360. The former comes with a 13.3” (starting at $999) and 15.6” (for $1,099) model featuring AMOLED screens and a 1080p resolution. They come with full DCI-P3 colour gamut support and support sRGB and Adobe RGB modes which should come in handy for artists and visual creators.

The Galaxy Book Pro and the Galaxy Book Pro 360 will run on Intel’s 11th Gen processors in 8GB, 16GB and 32 GB variants and Irs Xe graphics on the i5 and i7 CPU models. On the connectivity front, they support WiFi 6E and 4G, USB 3.2, MicroSD cards, a headphone and mic port, HDMI out, and two USB Type-C ports including a Thunderbolt 4 port. The Galaxy Book Pro has a 63Wh and 68Wh battery and charges at 65W with a Type-C charger.

Meanwhile the Galaxy Book Pro 360 comes with a touchscreen display and an included S Pen, along with a 5G variant for faster connectivity when you’re outside. The Galaxy Book Pro 360 will cost $1,199 for the 13.3” model, while the 15.6 model will cost you $1,299 and be available from May 14. The Galaxy Book Pro 360 has the same battery sizes as the Galaxy Book Pro, and the chaging speeds are also the same.

The company also launched the cheapest Galaxy Book, the most affordable of all the four laptops announced today. However, the 15.6” screen isn’t a TFT LCD display instead of an AMOLED screen, although the CPU is still an 11th Gen i3 or 15 or i7 processor, depending on what processing power you need. The Galaxy Book starts at $599 and will ship in 4GB, 8GB and 16GB variants and a 512GB SSD drive and an optional GeForce MX450 GPU upgrade if you need extra graphics support.

Finally, the company launched its Galaxy Book Odyssey, a performance-oriented laptop that comes in a single 15.6” screen size and weighs a comfortable 1.85 kg. The laptop comes with a larger 83Wh battery and a 135W GaN charger, thanks to the device’s 11th Gen Intel Core i5 or i7 processor coupled with the GeForce RTX 3050 Ti graphics card on the device. The Galaxy Book Odyssey will ship later this year, starting in August.

The company has also brought support for its Smart Switch application to transfer data from older Windows laptops to the Galaxy Book models, and the company says that features from its smartphones like Quick Share and Quick Pair for connected devices will also be built-in, along with SmartThings integration for quick object location and smart home controls.
