Asus is working on a new ROG phone. Interestingly, the successor to ROG Phone 3 will launch as ROG Phone 5. Ahead of the launch, ROG Phone 5 has made multiple unofficial appearances on the web. The latest in the series is TENAA listing.
The TENAA listing reveals ROG Phone 5 aka ROG Phone 4 sports model number I005DA. It will run on Qualcomm’s premium Snapdragon 888 processor. A 6,000mAh battery will power the phone. According to the listing, Asus ROG Phone 5 will come with a 65W fast charger as well.
In the photography department, Asus ROG Phone 5 will offer a triple-rear camera setup. The configuration will also include a 64-megapixel primary camera, reports GSMArena. On the front, Asus ROG Phone 5 will come with a 6.78-inch display. The screen has an AMOLED panel. It will also come with an in-display fingerprint reader. According to older leaks, Asus ROG Phone will offer up to 144Hz display.
Separately, Asus has launched a virtual Academy programme for gamers. Called ROG Academy, the company will select PC gamers through a screening process and provide them with a platform to improve their skills and prepare them for competitive e-sport tournaments.
