Google gives you 113 reasons why you should switch to Google Pixel

Google recently introduced its next-generation of smartphones - Google Pixel 6 and Google Pixel 6 Pro. The company launched Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro smartphones with its Tensor SoC, a brand new design and upgraded cameras. Now, the tech giant has shared a video via its official Made by Google account on YouTube that gives smartphone users 113 reasons why they should switch to a Google Pixel smartphone instead of opting for a smartphone by any other company.

“If you ever needed a reason to switch to Google Pixel after the maker of your old phone stops making phones, we can think of a few. And by a few, we mean 113,” Google has written in the caption of the almost 9-minute long video that had received 104,893 views at the time of writing this article.

Google starts off its 113-reason-long video by stating the fact that the Pixel smartphone is made by Google as the first reason for opting for it over a smartphone by any other company. Then, the company goes on to talk about features such as the battery, Feature Drop, camera hardware and features, Live Captions, car-crash detection, water-resistant, Now Playing, Call Screen, Translate, 5G connectivity, Split Screen functionality, walking navigation in Google Maps, adaptive and fast charging technologies, and bedtime mode among other things.

But not all the reasons in its video are focused on technical specifications and features. Serious reasons aside, the video also lists some funny and silly reasons for picking Google Pixel over any other smartphone. Like reason number 5, which says, “It has X in its name and everyone knows X is cool” or reason number 10, which says, “When you say Pixel someone might think you said Pickle and give you a free pickle.”

Other (totally non-serious) reasons why you should prefer Pixel over any other smartphone is that it can be used as a ‘charcuterie board’ or to ‘fix a wobbly chair’ or the fact that ‘it won’t judge you if you have extra fingers’ or the fact that ‘it matches your super-cool shoes’. If that wasn’t silly enough for you, there is more. Google says that its Pixel smartphones can also be used for trimming bangs.

There’s more. Google says that Pixel will help you get rescued if you ever get stuck on a deserted island and that is another reason why you should pick it. “If you spray it with your favourite perfume, it will smell just like your favourite perfume,” is Google’s reason number 100 for picking Pixel over another smartphone.
