Realme 6i coming to India alongside Realme C11, set to take on Poco M2 Pro

Realme is reportedly working on a new mid-range smartphone for India. Called Realme 6i, the phone will debut alongside Realme C11 on July 14.

Ahead of the official launch, Flipkart listed the phone on its app with a caption “Realme 6i Flipkart’s Most Powerful Mid-rangers under 15k”. The listing has been taken down but not before screenshots of it were posted by leakster Sudhanshu Ambhore.

GSMArena reports that the Realme 6i in India will be the rebranded version of Realme 6S which had launched in May this year. The smartphone comes with a 48-megapixel quad-camera setup on the back. It has a 6.5-inch full HD+ display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and 90Hz refresh rate. The fingerprint sensor is embedded on the side button.

For performance, Realme 6S relies on MediaTek’s Helio G90T processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB built-in storage. It is powered by a 4,300mAh battery with 30W fast charging support. Other features include 3.5mm headphone jack, USB Type-C port, and MicroSD slot for expandable storage.

Realme 6i (rebranded Realme 6S) is aimed at the ₹15,000 smartphone segment, especially the recently launched Poco M2 Pro. Poco’s new phone is available in India for a starting price of ₹13,999.

Poco M2 Pro has a 6.67-inch full HD+ display with 2400 x 1080p resolution. It runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G octa-core processor. It has a 48-megapixel primary sensor, 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, 5-megapixel macro sensor, and 2-megapixel depth sensor. It is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
