HTRealme will launch a new mid-range smartphone in India today. Called Realme 6i, the smartphone is expected to take on popular phones such as Poco M2 Pro, Redmi Note 9 Pro and Pro Max, and upcoming Galaxy M31s among others.

Realme 6i overview
Realme 6i is already listed on Flipkart. The phone is confirmed to sport a quad-camera setup. According to reports, Realme 6i will have a 48-megapixel primary sensor along with portrait lens, macro lens and an ultra-wide-angle lens. On the front, it has a 16-megapixel selfie camera. The front-facing camera comes with modes such as portrait, night mode and AI beauty.
Realme 6i has a 6.5-inch full HD+ display with Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3. It also has a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone runs on MediaTek’s Helio G90T processor with 4GB of RAM and 64GB built-in storage.
It is powered by a 4,300mAh battery with 30W fast charging support. Other standard features of the phone are USB Type-C, 3.5mm headphone jack, and fingerprint sensor (embedded on the side button).
Realme 6i vs Poco M2 Pro
Realme 6i is likely to be priced around ₹15,000 in India. Its closest competitor will be Poco’s M2 Pro which is available in India for a starting price of ₹13,999.
Poco M2 Pro features a 6.67-inch full HD+ display with 2400 x 1080p resolution. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G octa-core processor. It sports a 48-megapixel primary sensor, 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, 5-megapixel macro sensor, and 2-megapixel depth sensor on the back. It runs on a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
