Apple has various departments working on the technology for an updated sensor and software which could detect the rise or fall in a person’s blood pressure. Although the blood pressure monitoring system is present in smartwatches from rival tech giants such as Samsung, it is still in the initial phase and requires monthly calibration with a blood pressure machine. Apple has begun trials of this system on its employees. It is also working on a really great innovation- non-invasive sugar monitoring system. This could be a boon for people suffering from diabetes and save them from daily needle-pricks. (Reuters)
