The hefty price of the newer generation iPhone probably did not work in favour of Apple. The company is reportedly looking at restarting the production of its older iPhone X which had a good response, according to a report (via The Next Web) by the Wall Street Journal.
Apple had stopped selling the iPhone X which was launched last September. The iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max, which debuted in September, are not selling at a pace the company expected. Following unexpected forecast and results, Apple has reportedly started production of iPhone X from some suppliers.
The report also states that Apple will buy OLED panels for the iPhone X which would be cost cheaper than the new iPhone XS series.
