YU Ace is the latest budget smartphone from Micromax-backed YU. The smartphone is priced at RS 5,999, and it will be available exclusively via Flipkart starting September 6 at 12:00pm.
The company had started teasing the smartphone last week dropping some hints on what to expect. The highlight of YU Ace is its 4,000mAh battery. YU Ace comes wrapped in a 2.5D curved glass in three colour options of black, gold and blue.

YU Ace features a 5.45-inch HD+ Full Vision display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by MediaTek MTK6739 quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage. In the photography department, YU Ace sports a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel selfie camera.
On the software front, it runs on Android Oreo. Connectivity options on the YU Ace include dual 4G LTE, dual SIM, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The smartphone also has a rear fingerprint sensor along with support for face unlock.
YU, the sub-brand of Micromax revived after a one-year hiatus teasing the launch of a new smartphone in India. The last smartphone launched YU was Yureka 2 which carries a price tag of ₹11,999.
Yureka 2 competes against smartphones like Lenovo K8 Note and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5. The smartphone comes with a full HD 5.5-inch display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor and a 3,930mAh battery.
The smartphone sports a 16-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front snapper. It also comes with support for quick charge, 4G VoLTE, dual SIM and houses a rear fingerprint sensor.
