Qualcomm Snapdragon 875’s AnTuTu scores leaked

Qualcomm will release its new flagship mobile platform later this year. Dubbed as Qualcomm Snapdragon 875, the chipset is going to power a variety of premium and mid-range smartphones next year. Ahead of the official launch, Snapdragon 875’s alleged AnTuTu benchmark scores have surfaced online.

Shared by Twitter user Abhishek Yadav (via Gizmochina), Snapdragon 875 SoC is codenamed Lahaina. The chipset scored 8,47,868 points on AnTuTu. Yadav pointed 875 beat Snapdragon 865 Plus’ 6,29,245 points. If the scores are to be believed, Snapdragon 875 will be the most powerful Qualcomm chipset yet. This will also help Android OEMs to significantly improve performance on their upcoming phones.

According to reports, Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 chipset will be based on 5nm processor, just like Apple’s A14 Bionic and Huawei’s Kirin 9000.

The upcoming Qualcomm chip is said to come with Kryo 685 CPU built on Arm v8 Cortex technology, built-in 5G modem, Spectra 580 image-processing engine, and Snapdragon Sensors Core technology.

The processor will reportedly feature quad-channel package-on-package (PoP) high-speed LPDDR5 SDRAM and Low-power audio subsystem combined with Aqstic Audio Technologies WCD9380 and WCD9385 audio codec.

Realme, Xiaomi, and Oppo are said to be the first OEMs to launch phones with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 875 processor.
