Apple on Thursday revealed the lineup for its upcoming Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). This year Apple is holding the conference online in the wake of Covid-19 pandemic.
The conference focuses mainly on developers community but also sees some end users-centric announcements such as the beta version of iOS. The event is scheduled to be held between June 22 and June 26.
Apple’s WWDC 2020 will feature a keynote address, over 100 engineering sessions, a new developers forum, and 1-on-1 labs featuring more than 1,000 Apple engineers.
“Now in its 31st year, WWDC20 will be the biggest WWDC to date, bringing together the global Apple developer community of more than 23 million in an unprecedented, virtual way, from June 22 to 26. Apple today shared the WWDC20 lineup, including keynote and Platforms State of the Union timing, and information on how developers can learn about the future of iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS, and watchOS, and engage with Apple engineers,” said the company in a release.

Just like every year, the event will begin with a keynote which will focus on the latest updates and new features that are coming to all Apple platforms later this year. The highlight is going to be iOS 14 which is expected to come with a wide range of new features and improvements. According to reports, iOS 14 will feature a native call recording feature as well.
The keynote will be available for live stream Apple Developer app, the Apple Developer website, the Apple TV app, and YouTube, and will also be available for on-demand playback after the end of the stream.
